I hear where you're coming from Anthracks. There are a slew of records on this site that are not exactly for virgins and then you see a whole bunch of people who have them rated a 5 as well as Korn's Untouchables. Just sayin'.

I overplayed the hell out of this one. I listened to Fleshgod like twice then came back to it a few months later and I liked it a lot more. I still prefer this to Fleshgod however, it's just that at first this was about as high a 4.5 as I could give and now it's more of a solid 4. Fleshgod was a 3 on first listen.

I actually like Korn (old), In Flames and BtBaM so I wasn't bashing on anything. My point was that these are gateway metal bands and when I see kids who have all of their records rated a 5 and one obscure album like this rated highly as well with comments followed such as "Amazing death metal fap fap fap", I begin to speculate about them.

exactly, its just weird when people who are really into gateway bands are into this (among other albums). think i made a somewhat related post about this in one of ball's list and some people got pretty defensive
