I think I'm in the minority when I say this is better than Brother, Sister. However, I have only heard that record twice, both times were years apart.

Yeah I started to think this was better but then I listened to Bother, Sister again and I changed my opinion.

Maybe I should do that. I still think their best two songs are Silencer and In A Sweater Poorly Knit.

it's so funny to watch people give albums 5/5 because staff reviewers tell them to

also the songmeanings discussions of this are terrifying

things like:

First, that any who chose their family over Christ are not worthy of Christ. Thinking of your family before any other human being is an abomination to Christ for we are all of the same father and family. Our man made definition of family has ruined this idea.

this is why religion's dangerous, kids

Or perhaps its that we like breathtaking lyrics with unparallelled imagery, on top of well orchestrated music that blends many different instruments tastefully and whimsically. And i'm an atheist, but if "G-d" can inspire a band to make music this good, by all means let "Him." this is an incredible album, dig deeper...you'll get it.

religion is not dangerous, only to idiots, kids.

at least half the world is below average intelligence.

in all seriousness though it's true. it should be a bringer of joy and peace like this album, but often it leads to retards who believe their only responsibility is to CHRIST which is so damaging and whatnot. debate is too long to have on sputnik haha.

it's a good album; i'm still spinning it plenty of time and have no problem with the imagery or direction. it just doesn't hit musical chords with me; the opener is mindblowingly boring.
