Isis is just one of those bands I can't quite decide if I like or not. Panopticon was good but it didn't blow me out of the water, so I'm not really sure about getting this album.

The more I listen to this album, the more I like. Where Panopticon was an instant likeness, this one is a grower.

Panopticon was my first experience with the band and I admit, it was difficult to get into.

Yeah, the Red Sea was my first experience with Isis. So, to me, going from Red Sea to this album was an awesome progression.

You know it really is, when I first heard In the Absence of Truth, I hated it and I haven't gone back to listen to it. But I wanted to give this album a try, and I really liked it. It was hard for me to get into their clean stuff to this extent, but I don't know. This album displays some great songwriting.

But In the Absence of Truth is there best? Seriously, listen to "Dulcinea" and tell me that's not the best crescendo ever.

Like I said, I only listened to it once and kind of disregarded it. But you know, I was so hung up on old Isis. I'll pop it on now and give it another chance since I like this album. Putting that song on now...and I will let you know.

Haha! Okay, will do! Usually, this type of stuff is one of my favorite forms of Metal. Believe me, my name might be Shredzilla, but I do like to kick back a relax more than I should, lol!

Yep, definitely wrong quote, lol. Here's the one I meant to use: "This ain't no shred show, thats for sure hahahaha. Go into these albums with no preconceived thoughts whatsoever and I guarantee, they will click."

The only reason I noticed was because my retarded memory farted and allowed me to say "Wait a minute, is he responding to my statement from yesterday?" LOL

Threshold of Transformation is probably my favourite metal song ever... which really just tells you how little metal I listen to. But the groove that comes in at about 3 minutes is so fucking good.
