yeah I mean I feel like they occasionally make it down that way but not too often cause it's too fucking hot
and then the sweat soaks right through your t shirt and you feel self conscious and awkward, etc.

haha yeah in Philly I saw them in some basement that was hot as piss, I was sweating before they even came on
I think they came here several years ago, but I only started listening to them a few months before Scrambles came out

some videos from the show last night on there.
you can see in some of them they pretty much just give up playing for parts of the song because it was so many people packed into a tiny house and the heat was just obscene.
they finished by covering Against Me!'s 'Don't Lose Touch' and omg it was one of the best moments of my life.

yeah seriously! like they started sorta playing it and I remember thinking "eh they're just messing around"
but then they went ALL into it and jeff was pretty much done trying to sing for about half of it because it was so sweltering in there so I got some good mic action and I've been pretty much riding that psyched-wave since haha

basically same thing happened to me! jeff came out and he said that it was a song that him and the sidekicks wrote together and they started playing it but i didn't recognize it at first...then as soon as jeff comes in with YOU'RE COMING OFF KIND OF CONTRIVED AND PRETENTIOUS
my friend and i were one of like 5 people who knew what they were playing though, which sucked
they later covered el scorcho and got everyone in the room to sing
