Damn, forgot about the title track. That's 8 minutes of goodness right there. Not as big a fan of Lack of Color, although it does have some nice moments, mostly that last minute and a half or so.

"There is a possibility I just never gave them the chance they deserved"

Well I mean it's entirely possible they're just not your style or something. I do dig all the tracks you posted, but then again I love DCFC

I just love the lyrics, and also; it is very nostalgic to me, so there you go ^^

I bought both of these around the same time when Plans was released (mostly because of my obsession with Soul Meets Body). At the time, pretty much everything I listened to was on the heavier side (mostly stuff with harsh vocals) and I have been trying to branch out over the last couple years or so. I was thinking DCFC might be a good band to revisit. I thought I would ask for some pointers instead of just diving in head first.

Try out this and Plans.

This is probably the best thing they'll ever put out, but Plans is pretty great as well. (Edit) See if

you can get into the non-poppier songs. If not, you can always look for other single-quality songs

like "You Are a Tourist." I'm not really too familiar with Narrow Stairs and I didn't much like their

latest, though, so it's hard for me to recommend outside of this and Plans.

probably the most heartbreaking album ever. title and registration is still one of the saddest songs i've ever heard. it's simultaneously a masochistic and nostalgic experience: i can't help but smile and reminisce about all the good times, but it's hard not to become consumed by it.

also, plans is indeed very good. easily my second favourite.

Title and Registration is the sort of song that's pretty, both sonically and lyrically, but I won't be able to connect with until I suffer from similar levels of heartbreak.

I remember the music video for Title and Registration being really cool.

saddest album ever

i love how we looked like giants turns from catchy and summery to cold and solemn nearer the end. i like a lack of colour, but i feel like we looked like giants is the true album closer because of how it fades out on nostalgic recollection
