Yeah, it was in my phone for like a year but it was there so my friends believed that I was "MUSICALLY ELITE", I've never actually listened to this, I'm just giving a random score.

I can’t get a handle on Alex’s music taste - the ratings look like they were derived from RYM averages :/

True

More that just albums that score high only have one thing in common - they’re very well regarded

Swans - The Who - This Heat - Slint - Devin Townsend

Have ZERO in common musically.

They seem like little islands of their own style, I dunno, I’d maybe expect some more ‘personal’ looking picks in the same genres

Then, I don’t know if that’s all the ratings Alex has listened to :/

"I don’t know if that’s all the ratings Alex has listened to :/"

Nah, it isn't, I've listened to a lot more music but I only rate like 50% - 60% of what I listen to for one reason or another. And yeah, I'd say most, well, all of my 4.0+ albums are well regarded, the usual thing for me isn't giving high scores to albums most people dislike, but rather giving kind of low scores to albums people like a lot.
