Ghandhiboi do these guys have anything on par with the weirder tracks here? Only heard In Somniphobia, which was kinda fun but doesn't compare

Maybe some of the stuff on Dread Dreams? This is their most psychedelic effort though

I'm not that familiar with their discography so it's best to ask someone else for that. I will say that Hail Horror Hail is one of their best albums though. Not their weirdest.

Realised the other day that arguably the two best tracks here weren't on the original release wth

Gonna check one or both of the above recs soon

Maybe give a shot to the Heresy suite from the last album for a quick 10 minutes of weird.

All those things are better (if being occasionally selective).

So you’re still wrong.

am now too invested in these fairly pointless comparisons to pull out: this is as consistent as adtf and a million times less homogenous

One person’s homogenous is another’s cohesive.

One person’s eclectic is another’s hot mess.

Having said that I don’t think this is a mess and this comparison is indeed one of the weirder ones I’ve come across here.

This made me want to revisit Pan.Thy.Monium, which is always welcome. Only problem is I got more bang for my buck with that album. The length here is slightly off-putting. Fun listen for the most part though.

Favourite songs:

1. Slaughtergarden Suite

2. Nietzschean Conspiracy / Voices / Requiem - Nostalgia / Corpsecry - Angelfall

6. Dreamsphere (Return To The Chaos) / Scarlet Dream / A Sunset Song / Impromptu (Allegro Maestoso)

10. Bring Back The Dead / Ecstatic Transformation

12. Born Condemned Criminal

Nietzschean Conspiracy and Voices are that far up because I love all the electronic sounds and weird stuff.

I also have to add, the electronic middle parts in Scarlet Dream (electronic reggae! always great to hear) and A Sunset Song are really something very nice.

By far their best album. I wish their other albums were like this.
