i hate the recording quality of the s/t compared to this. It sounds so amateurish in its rawness it just feels really difficult to get into. This album has more oomph to its recording quality.

man, self titled is just other worldly.
this is too, but honestly, i think self titled is the best bm ever. no album cover has ever matched the music like that. its just the most piercing, guttural, yet melodically extravagant album in the genre
production can def be a turn off, but i think it perfectly matches the music itself

I have all in at least 256 and it makes a difference. get s/t and Winterkalte in 320 and the atmosphere is more lush and enveloping, like Weakling.
