nah Define the Great Line is better because the second half of the album (starting with track 6) is pretty much flawless.

This album is great, but i just prefer DTGL so much more.
The instrumentals IMO are much better and they dont over use feedback like they do in this album.

The vocals are still top notch though. Aaron and Spencer really colaborate well just like they have in previous albums.

It's really pretty good, I used to have this rated as 2.5 :P

Now its really looking more like a 3.5, it's a grower

Underoath should have continued down the TOCS or TCOT route these last two albums. They have lost the fun factor. This Message Edited On 01.25.09

It was all right for its time I guess but now that we have DTGL and this there's really no need to ever listen to it again

I know i'm wrong, but fuck it. These two albums aren't catchy, fun, or good for crusising. My logic is fail, yeah, well, their new direction upsets me.

This is what happens when I travel to Orlando for a weekend. The slow conversion from anti-mainstream to mainstream whore will be slowly increase with each passing visit. If I decide to move there soon, BallsToTheWall will be lost in the outer reaches of Davy Jones locker, doomed for all eternity. Not to mention, logic failing more than ever.

A trio of songs follow, “We Are the Involuntary”, “The Created Void”, “Coming Down is Calming Down” that are absolutely unmemorable. Along with “A Fault Line, A Fault of Mine” they are the Achilles Heel of the album, creating a sense of genericism within the record.

The Created Void is probably my favorite. A Fault Line, A Fault of Mine is also a really ace track, but the other two are pretty much what you say they are.
