The atmosphere is pretty scary

Played ''A Burial at Ornans'' like 7 times in a row ... 5/5 song definitely!

Death/doom that makes you want to transcend reality, travel through some dimensional portals or some shit.

album honestly makes me feel like descending into the depths of hell
seems pretty lame i'm sure, but no other (especially not metal albums) makes me feel like that.
and not some kind of epic or mystical tale through hell. it's dark, bleak, and monolithic sure, but more like a slow, languid, and surreal descension. less demons and bones, and more psychedelia, unfettered insanity, and quiet and seemingly distant but completely unnerving anxiety. the view and atmosphere of it all keepin' a tight grip on my frail heart...

It's not lame I hvae similar imagery when I listen to this, one of the reasons I like it so much.

It kind of sounds like being in a church during some crazy satanic occult ritual
