really, the lyrics are pretty consistently great across the entire record. Are these guys going to be recording soon?
|
| |
i've been wondering that too, hopefully we get some news on that soon.

Lost in the Sound of Separation is Underoath's best IMO, but not 5-worthy.
|
| |
So what's goin' on here guys, we talkin' about some good metalcore?
|
| |
like i said before, i really get an emotional connection with this album. not only that, but it displays brutality and beauty in general. to me, it deserves a 5.

I got an emotional connection with Of Malice so I see that as a 4.5-5, but damn this is good. Reset and Homecoming are almost enough to bump my rating.

haha, somehow our convos always go to Underoath. i'd say Define and Lost are really close, but i prefer Define a pinch more.
as for this band, i gotta give first place to Controller.
edit: oh restrict, you punkass, editing your post...

Yeah, I've got LITSOS and DTGL rated the same, just like LITSOS a tiny bit more. Same way with this and Of Malice, they're both 4's for me, but Of Malice is just a little better.
And yes, metalcore, the good kind. Which is the kind I prefer ;-)
|
| |
Now i know what i'll play to seduce you.
Of Malice is the best from these boys. Haven't listened to LITSOS enough, but it's darn good

ehh I don't know. All of Define has quality tracks as Lost has some songs that come off as bland.

I love the first track on LITSOS. One of my favorite Underoath tracks.
|
| |
i can't see Lost being a 5, i just can't. it's got a couple of songs that i just don't like.
i remember when i first heard Five Years from Malice i was blown away...
it's funny you mention that Inveigh, that's one of the songs off Lost i don't like.

^really, huh. I just love the breakdown in that song. I'm not a huge fan of Underoath's clean vocals, so usually my favorite songs from them have little to none of those. I've got both LITSOS and DTGL at 3.5.
Yeah, Five Years is a great song.

"I've got both LITSOS and DTGL at 3.5."
First time i've seen our ratings differ man. Define's a 4 for me, Lost is 3.5
