I brought home a new bottle of mezcal home with me from vacation. Got some worm salt in the mail yesterday. So tomorrow after work I shall be treating my extremely sophisticated palate and enjoying having the condo to myself while my partner is running an event.

Oh yeah I forgot I just got Andy Stott - Faith In Strangers on vinyl yesterday in the mail and that has been a holy grail for me for a while. Been saving it to listen to tomorrow, so that’s the pairing.

As far as bottom shelf shit goes rum is a bottom tier liquor but when you get into the good stuff it’s a very different story

I don’t have strong feelings about Old Fashioned’s, it’s entirely dependant on the quality of the bitters, whiskey, sugar, and garnish. I hate shitty cocktail cherries and honestly I can tell your old fashioned is going to be shit the second I scope one of them in there.

Great album, peaked a bit in the first three tracks for me but really enjoyable stuff
