only the 2nd brick annoys me, and vera slightly does as well. dude Is There Anybody Out There has an amazing guitar part by gilmour, and empty spaces is an amazing transition (although the live version, where mason does a sweet drum fill makes it even better)

it deserves a 5  and ya, to a big prog fan i could see why they wouldnt like this album nearly as much, but this is the first floyd album i heard and it got me into music so that may half the reason for my 5. and i just fucking love it.

I think that Pink Floyd is the most unique band I know. It's albums are usually all themed (such as Animals and The Wall) and many of their songs flow into one another. I love how there's a hidden message in the last and first songs of this album how it says "Isn't this where...we came in?". I'm hoping I can see the concert this upcoming autumn . They are just freaking geniuses.
