I'm still disappointed for how Billy approached the remasterization of Adore. I didn't listen the whole album, but I noticed that he took out an orchestral background in the second verse of pug which made the song even more epic.

This album is honestly very near perfect

It kinda annoys me Billy took the standard editions of all the albums off spotify. I wanna just save the whole album, I don't wanna go through and have to individually save the standard album tracks.

They did the Depeche Mode move, only in reverse.

Pretty good album this though it's certainly bloated, could easily lose 3-4 songs out of the mid-section.

Mid section?
The 2 easiest to drop (not counting 17 obvious) are towards the end
(Shame and Behold! The Night Mare)
Actually I'd drop Tear and Once Upon a Time too
Those would be my 4

What?! Behold The Nightmare is probably the best song here.
I would drop Annie Dog and The Tale of Pistol Pete.

Interesting, "Shame" I could lose I guess but I like those others. "Appels + Oranjes", "Pug", and "Annie-Dog" are the most useless for me.
Faves so far are "To Sheila", "Perfect", "Crestfallen", and "The Tale of Dusty and Pistol Pete".

Shame is my absolute favourite song here and maybe my favourite Smashing Pumpkins song ever

""Appels + Oranjes", "Pug","
Those are both in my top 4 with Ava Adore and Blank Page :o

Oh man "Appels + Oranjes"'s lyrics are so bad though and the instrumental is pretty bland.

Pug at one point was my fave on here, though now it's probably only #3

Appels + Oranjes is like an electropop song on a electronic goth rock album, so I kinda see ho it's out of place, but that's also kinda why I love it
It's like the kinda Smashing Pumpkins style that Eye had and I kinda wish they explored that electronic side more. The rarity Waiting from the Adore sessions is another great electronic tune
Also I love the instrumental, and the lyrics are mostly there for *****AESTHETICS****** so I like them

I think the issue I'm going to end up having here more so than on earlier Pumpkins stuff is the instrumentals are generally a bit more nondescript which means the songs lean more heavily on Billy's lyrics which in general are some of the most hit or miss in all of rock.

Ok this is def a grower, going with a 4.
Never would have expected the Pumpkins to have done a slowcore song but "Shame" is a pretty darn good one.
