Love this album, but why do too many parts have to sound like BTBAM? The Palms Read intro is just like The Primer.

I know it's a beast, but the review should shed some light on any questions.

I'm not retarded, I read the review. Notice my question was addressed to how he handles the vocals live.

He handles them well. Arif, Tim and Luke help with the harmonies since Rody obviously cant scream, growl and sing at the same time. But having watched Limb from Limb live, he can transition from growl to scream to clean pretty fluidly.

Ah, cool, that's what I was wondering. I just found the new clips of them on MTV.ca, so I'll check it out myself now.

The only one that's really tight is Goddess Bound, since they've been playing that for a while now. The other two they really havent played outside of the studio so they're a little iffy at parts.

I had my fourth listen today and already some of the sections I had labeled as "shred transitions" are beginning to stand out more.

yeah it really isnt as shredulous as you think.

also, buddy of mine finally helped figure out this whole passage from Wretch:

"in silence left unbroken, on the bed bound and gagged by culture, language, myth, and law, from a wounded womb of flesh that's scarred and raw, our goddess gave birth to your god -- god damn!"

Crap, once again I pay dearly for not being Canadian; the video is unavailable for copyright reasons outside of Canada.

I love the intro to Goddess Gagged. It reminds me of the intro to Prequel to the Sequel for some reason, so uplifting. This Message Edited On 01.24.08

Ya, Protest the Hero is the first band to have a cat meow on a metal record, therefore they are now pioneers.
