When it's cold (and when it's dark hahahah couldn't help myself) it's very suitable and when it's hot it provides a nice contrast.

it's strange how people on this site seem to like this album but not like shinings other albums, strange because to me this album has some of the weakest vocals of all the albums of shining and the band are pretty consistently weird and dark so it's bizarre the reception on here

Yeah it's so good from start to finish, not at all far-fetched to 5.0 I'd say. Nothing sounds like this either, it's pretty clean yet oh so tasty.

can't believe Kvarforth not been cancelled as he openly encourages people suffering in desperate states of mental health to kill themselves (not joking, he wants them to kill themselves, people think he's kidding, but he's happy when it happens and it has happened in real life) this guy is a horrible influence for anybody struggling with mental health issues who are already in vulnerable states.

Yes it took a while for me to deal with this dude having such horrible ideas/behaving so horribly. Blegh. Very hard not to have this impact my enjoyment of this album.

It’s a difficult subject yes, one i feel a few different ways about. Is there a source you can link that isn’t just Kvaforth claiming that people have hurt themselves or committed suicide listening to Shining? I have never been able to really find anything

he literally says the message of the band is to have young depressed people kill themselves to the music/give their lives to satan. Again people think he's joking/playing up a character but don't forget this guy has mental issues and he actually believes it.
