What ever happened to this band? One of the songs is amazing (Critical Acclaim), but it all goes downhill from there.

I Have been an avenged sevenofold fan for a long time. I was worried about the new album and how it would affect them, it wasn't great. It doesn't highlight their attributes by far. This more or less attracted teenie bopers and preteens not the hardcore fan base i think they were looking for. either way waking the fallen is by far the best. but this is humorus. however, 'a little piece of heaven' shows artistic attempt in the ochestral and lyrical supplements.

They really need to make a new category of vocal delivery for M. Shallows. I mean, seriously, after singing out of his nose for 9 years, I am surprised he has not complained about THAT yet.

Indeed it's sometimes pretty "macho", but hands down, they know how to play their instruments and make some catchy metal out of it.

Apart from that I see Avenged Sevenfold as nothing but Pop-Metal, so I knew what to expect from this CD.
