The last 3 tracks are weak compared with the rest of the album.
Towards and Against, Her Alone and Emigma are my favorites so far.

Last 3 aren't weak at all, but I agree that they're not up to par with the rest of the songs. My rankings of the songs would be:
Weaving the Incantation
A Servant
Towards and Against
Her Alone
I of Crimson Blood
Silent Waters
Enigma
The White Swan
The Black River
Shaman

Amorphis have some of the best riffs in metal (in my opinion of course) and this album is their best with Tales from the thousand lakes following very closely behind (practically on par). I just like the atmosphere and sound they use, especially on these two albums.

I really can't stand Elegy at all. I agree with HaloDude442.

Is it just me, or do his clean vocals sometimes sound like Katatonias?
Example: Her Alone

Listening this right now, and love it already. The small piano parts are fantastic.

Is it just me, or do his clean vocals sometimes sound like Katatonias? I've never gotten that impression, Tomi has more gut feeling

Whatever Tomi does, it rules.

Haven't heard the previous vocalist, but from what I've heard I'll prefer Tomi. High-pitched vocals get on my nerves after a while.

that's exactly what ruined Tales

I find they sound Katatoniaish in just Her Alone, I guess.

I find that this whole album is mediocre. Just sayin'.
