Rikki Tikki Tavi is awesome. I can't even listen to this anymore, every song starts to sound almost
identical with subsequent listens, which is a shame because I used to fawn over this. As far as I'm
concerned their new album shows maturity and growth, and it's just a lot more playful and fun than
this. Still, I adore the bookends here.

These guys come across a bit pretentious and their lyrics are extremely cryptic. However they are awesome that much cannot be denied.

@Emyay their older stuff is very hard to find (in cd form ect.) as they were much heavier before like on songs like Rikki Tikki Tavi. It's pretty good stuff but a lot of people think it's very noisy and chaotic. They have since then changed their genre to Art Rock.

I suggest checking out Dead Letter Circus, Karnivool, The Butterfly Effect. These guys are all Australian bands and they are excellent I think if you dig this you will dig them. They aren't quite as bizarre though.

Yeah don't really like Karnivool very much (they have a couple good tracks, but mostly boring). I saw Dead Letter when I saw Fair to Midland they seemed pretty cool. I've been meaning to check out their album. Haven't heard of butterfly effect

I'm sorry to hear you don't like Karnivool much I love them! To each their own I guess, but Dead

Letter Circus album is awesome you should definitely listen to that one. The Butterfly Effect are

pretty good especially their newest album Final Conversation Of Kings. If you like progressive music

this is a nice one to listen to as they mix jazz influences with their rock. I think they have a sax

and a jazz flute going on through much of the album.
