Sure the drums are way too loud in the mix on this one, but everything's pushed way too far down on Constellations, the drums in particular are a joke

The drums might be a little low, but it's not terrible. If you have a decent pair of speakers it sounds just fine.

The only thing that makes a substantial noise on Constellations from a drum perspective are the toms

My mistake

Personally I don't mind if the drums are slightly higher in the mix, cuz it is a metal record, like say on Conducting From The Grave's release, which in my opinion has very good production, but on Messengers they are way high, and Constellations are a little low. . . but thats preference

Just being a drummer myself I hate not being able to properly hear the percussion. And if it's too loud I can always manually turn it down, if it's too low there's not a great deal you can do to adjust it
