I remember a girl from Mexico whom I met in latinchat one time in messenger send me a video from cradle of filth. Of course I wasn't into that genre, but she was very deep into that gothic metal-black metal thing. I don't know how years later I got in contact with her and realise she knew nothing about genres or music in general.

I think the song was from this album since 2004 was the year I met her...or I think it was before, can't remember

I've found that in general, people irl don't know what the fuck they're talking about when it comes to genres. I've had friends who called Pantera death metal and stuff, I just accept it

That kind of thinking makes me depressed. But hey we are almost like autistic listeners, this site will reject any user who talk about music in a frivolous way such us the typical "the only song I like from SOAD is chop suey".

Say what you will about Cradle but the trio of "Cold Mirrors - Her Ghost in the Fog - Swansong for a Raven" is and was always a brilliant little trilogy of tracks.

Yeah Nemesis is superb. Love Gabrielle, Absinthe With Faust and especially English Fire too. And Coffin Fodder is nice as well. It's just a bit much if you listen to the whole thing.
