the worst thing about the remasters is the drumming the snare is so unnecessarily loud and everything sounds triggered

It's really the re-dubbed vocals that ruin it for me here. I mean I can tolerate the re-masters but the originals are way better IMO.

I really am not ever keen on re-masters of classic albums - they just never matter. Like if they are classic albums, they obviously don't need to be changed.

BTW you can usually find FLACs of the originals for megadeth pretty easily at least in my experience, so if you can't find them in stores just grab those.

Well, remasters of classic albums are often good simply for availabilty. I mean, most remasters might not sound as good as the original, but they usually still sound good enough for anyone to get into it. Like, for example, Judas Priest remasters were never necessary, since all Priest albums already have good production, but the remasters made everything commercially available again.

Megadeth remasters, on the other hand...

i really don't think the vocals themselves sound any better or worse on the remaster. they're just a little too high in the mix.

I totally get that, but you're really only appreciating the fact that things have gotten re-released. sure, it was because of their reproduction, But albums can get re-released without any change which would be the preferred method. But I'm just talking about the actual audio quality of the two when I conpare them.

Learning Lucretia on guitar. Too bad i'm sure i won't be able to play the 40 minutes solo duels at the end.

Lucretia is so fucking awesome. The main riff is SOOO addictive, and the bass and drums are sweet as fuck. Love also Ellefson HEYS and YEAH! :

Sorry bro, didn't see that at the time. I'm always on here at weird times and whenever I wanna jam no one is in the room.
