Of course, if they want to quit, they totally should. I just find it strange that you keep repeating this like it's a fact. They could also very well go on in a way that suits them if they feel like continuing, in whatever shape or form they see fit.
And I mean all of this without even thinking about what I'd want them to do or what I'd love to see from them.

Me too! Certainly interested in hearing what this calmer direction comes down to. Could be super cool, secretly wished for them to explore that further forever. Always loved those calmer moments on previous work (Acrid Placidity, parts of C33, the ending of Straws, the calmer bits of CC and DEI).
