"...and potentially their last??"
I was wondering where this got planted in my brain, and I realize it's been you typing it everywhere haha - KEEP YOUR FEAR TO YOURSELF, I CAN'T HANDLE IT.

Yeah man it's such a strange rumour. Why repeat it all the time when they haven't even commented on this being their last one?

"MonstroCity is Meshuggah goes Korn."
That intro riff always reminded me of Here to Stay for some reason. Always dug that track.

I mean do ppl really want another shuggah record in the future when their all in their 60s and might not be able to play to their full ability's??? That's what I'm saying. Its nearing the end regardless

Who knows they might. I'm still convinced they're all androids in human disguise

iirc, jens is the oldest and is actually almost 60. As much as I love the platitude that they're "cyborgs in human disguise" or whatever, they might not want to do this forever. Like at some point, they've just gotta be getting tired. They've been doing this for 3 or 4 decades. If they want to call it quits and focus on families or other hobbies or whatever, more power to em. These legends have earned that

Jens is 55. The rest of the members are early 50s. Dick is 40s. Im just being realistic just saying their age is nothing to be concerned about at this point. I no they will knock out another killer album in april. But hell 6-7 years from now who knows. I dont wanna see them be one of those bands in their 60s 70s putting out half ass albums because they cant play to their full abilities at that point. If they wanna put out one more album in 5 years I would be behind that. But anything else after I just dont wanna see tbh.

Im not concerned about their age or their abilities, im just saying they've been doing this for a long time and if they wanna do other shit or get burned out I support them taking a break or being done

I get that to. It seems like their still hungry the way Thomas was talking about the album they seem like their still in the zone and want to keep going. Fredrick didnt write any music on it I guess he was to focused on his solo album it was all done by marten and thomas. No complaints Marten was always just as important as fredrick songwriting wise. From what I seen they kinda always split it 50/50 guitar writing wise. Martens got it under control
