Fair, I mean I've heard that complaint a lot but I never really understood it. Jens vocals have been my shit since like 2002 when I first heard these guys and he always sounds menacing as fuck (especially on songs here like I Am Colossus). He's one of my favorite metal vocalists tbh.

Yeah, I mean I don't know if Meshuggah's style of music calls for that much vocal range (although Catch 33 showed that he could hold a note for a realllllyyy long time). His intensity and energy are more than enough for me - he sounds like a monster.



But as much as Meshuggah are objectively the greatest band of all time, I will say that FINE IT COULD BE PERSONAL PREFERENCE I GUESSSSSSSS
