Why though?
|
| |
'better' = yes absolutely, this is far better executed than VU&N, boasts more variety and has more atmosphere and depth
'version' = uh I guess they're both hazy?
|
| |
The comparison is just weird
|
| |
Yeah kinda

Album Rating: 4.0
As it went on it sounded less like them but the noise pop sound of the early tracks sounded like that but more modern
Also "October All Over" is distractingly better than rest
|
| |
Terminus was my favorite early on until it all blended together and needed all of itself to congeal into the masterpiece that it is.
|
| |
Haha October was my early favourite (and still just about comes out on top) but it helps that it's the only song here with a real hook

Album Rating: 5.0
it's just wrong to try to pick a favorite song from this
except it's terminus

Terminus rules yeah
there's also a weird amount of Nirvana worship on this
|
| |
Totally get what you mean, but wouldn't call it Nirvana worship - those vibes run through their whole discog (especially New Plastic Ideas/Future of What) and are kinda their own thing

gotcha this is the only thing I know from them so it reads as hyper-nirvana, esp the vocals on "Demons Sing Love Songs" and the first half of Terminus
|
| |
Ah yeah haha Trosper's vocal delivery defo has a lot of Cobain vibes at times, but with even more apathetic sneer
|
| |
Give New Plastic Ideas a jam and you'll get a whole different view on it (also that album is arguably better than this one)
|
| |
also try out repetition. just remember both sound a good deal different than this
|
| |
Yeah Repetition is a solid solid listen
|
| |
First half of Fake Train is one of the best things this band ever did, but I could never get into the second :[
|
| |
yet to try fake trains
