"Ok well any Mayhem tracks for weaning onto his vocals?" - Funeral Fog. He compliments it perfectly.

Drunk priest makes me think of Urfaust. There really is too much black metal

I always forget how fucking funny those vocals are when they finally come in on the opening track. It sounds like he is trying to shit and doesn't realize there's a microphone in the room. Almost every noise he makes sounds accidental

One of the band's least exciting albums. The only reason it's such a big deal is the backstory.

“so unexciting it invented a whole new movement behind it based on a couple songs and an idea for a riff”
Exactly. Its influence is the only thing about it that makes it stand out in any way. Not a bad album, actually very good. Just really uninteresting compared to the band’s other work, and other stuff that was coming out at the same time

This album riffs. And it shits all over ABITNS and I love darkthrone

I will say though, this isn't as mind-numbingly my boring as Daemon. As far as riffs are concerned though, this album is again one of the least exciting from this second wave of bm. I think it’s good, but I’ll never understand the dick sucking.
