Nope, from a musical perspective hes a talented singer and he sings on key with a lot of skill live, even my songwriting professor agreed when we were showing eachother favorite modern metal. Tommy is a pretty versatile musician, and he really is a good clean singer. I perfectly understand when people cant stand his harsh vocals, but i enjoy them

Well, Thunder you still never even told me who that is. And of the bands I listen to, Tommy is probably the hardest to most impossible to understand. And I honestly don't think he even sounds that great. Plus on Colors the vox are pushed so far back in the mix.

@Chuck well.......ok. There's about a thousand other vocalists in harsher music with far more indecipherable vocals. Im pretty sure based on that you've never listened to any modern emotional hardcore or any old school metalcore album

yeah, hes definitely unique and a again a versatile musician. Id take potato more seriously if he ever backed up his arguments, but he just kind of is always there to be there its kind of annoying

As for Tommy, I really don't understand why people hate him so much. This is really the only album I like from this band, but I never thought he was a bad vocalist by any means. He's nothing special at all, but I can't say I understand all the hatred that goes his way.

But even if you do hate the vocals, which I can totally understand, the hate for everything else is unwarranted. The musicianship is superb, and you can say that there's no structure, but that's the whole point.

@Hawks the hatred is understandable, he doesnt have much actual skill or diversity as a harsh vocalist, but i enjoy the vox nonetheless and potato i dont get butthurt anymore, i enjoy the things i enjoy youre just another fade
