First 6 ranking, off the top of my head:

2) Master of Reality
3) Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
4) Vol. 4
5) Paranoid
6) Sabotage (this album is a total bomb in my book)

Transition from Rat Salad to Fairies Wear Boots is seamless.

I think I'd have to go:
1. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
2. Master of Reality
3. Paranoid
4. Sabotage
5. Black Sabbath
6. Vol. 4
|
| |
I prefer this to the debut by fair margin, but each to their own.
It's damn close to be my fave 1970 album, though Abraxas exists.
As much as I love Purple (one of my top 2 bands), I think I like this slightly more than In Rock.

electric funeral riff might be my favorite use of the wah wah pedal ever
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.5
^ Yeah, that main riff is absolutely fantastic. So doomy for its time too
|
| |
At least as far as my copy of the album is concerned, there's some audio discrepancy, particularly on t/t and Hand of Doom.
On another note, t/t might be growing on me.

Album Rating: 4.5

i don't ever need to hear either song again haha

Album Rating: 5.0
idk man i still just start air guitaring whenever i listen to iron man
plus i haven’t listened to radio or anything like that in well over a decade so the paranoid/iron man fatigue just isnt there for me
