nothing is gonna happen to them especially because their fans are the ones that are mostly the problem and clearly they dont give a shit enough to stop listening to them over that, also actual bands with way more problematic members and abusers are still able to put out stuff so the idea of ppl being "cancelled" in this industry is kind of not something that happens as often as some suggest

Oh my god Spencer in Dream Theater would be a travesty, the 30, 40 and 50 year old DT fans would be up in arms. I said what I said in my previous post, I dont think Periphery have much more to offer in terms of their music, I feel like this album is just a retread of P3, so if they somehow become cancelled (it's not gonna happen at least not soon) I wouldnt really mind.

the love for P4 perplexes me. I can see people liking Reptile, Blood Eagle, and Chvrch Bvrner. But most of the other songs, Garden, Only Smiles, Crush are the very "emocore" songs that I expect most Periphery naysayers to detest

My main critique toward the album. The lead single was fucking Blood Eagle, I expected balls to the wall the whole we through, but no, we get just a copy of the last album, literally. I got blue balled pretty hard if I'm honest, my favorite Periphery is balls to the wall heavy. Absolomb is their best "emocore" song if that's what people insist to call it.
