It's no more brickwalled than the average big metal release in 2016. tbh compression notwithstanding the drums sound pretty fantastic on this.

Edit: production sounds fine to me and I usually bitch about loudness war type production. As long as I can hear every instrument with no trouble and the clipping isn't totally flagrant then I don't mind too much, in fact I'd say it was a good job. If someone can use loudness war dynamics on an album and everything still manages to stick out then kudos all around
