I don't get all of the hate for LTP and EV (I love both), but then again I seem to be one of the few that doesn't really love this album. I'm not expecting much from the new album if the single is any indication, especially from a production/mastering standpoint (although they've had terrible mastering on all their albums so what's new...).

EV is pretty good but LtP is amazing. I'm expecting the new one to be around as good as EV, so tied for their worst, but am hoping it'll be better.

Nah man new one is gonna be gut.

Era and Lullabies are easily their worst records and they are still 4's in my opinion

For the millionth time, probably...
SFTD > this >> R Rated >> LtP > s/t >>>>> EV
> = 0 (but still better/worse)
>> = .5 down etc.
|
| |
^can't argue with the placement, but EV is not ">>>>>" bad.

That record just does absolutely nothing for me unfortunately, plain dull.

"For the millionth time, probably...
SFTD > this >> R Rated >> LtP > s/t >>>>> EV"
The placement of the s/t is hideously low. Also, agreed, EV is still a great record.

s/t is a more than solid record, the competition is simply too strong. LtP is the underrated one in QOTSA's discography for me, hence it placing (just) above s/t. First 5 records are all at least a 3.8/5.

Sunlight's right on with the order, but my ratings look like this: SFTD and this=4.5 R, LTP, and S/T=4 EV=3
