Nice, I saw them a couple years ago and it was one of the best concerts I've ever seen. Opened with the first two songs on SftD so how could it not be, and they played an extended version of Chemistry which was mind-blowing.

Did a discog jam these past few days and just listened to this in full for the first time in a while, and hit just as hard as it ever did. Vampyre, Fairweather Friends, and the last two songs are incredible.

Yeah I saw them when they toured for this album in 2013 and it was great but the sound quality could have been better despite them being in an indoor big stadium. Hoping for an improvement this time.

I bet the new album is good. Single grew on me. I get not liking it, but I don't think Homme and Co. are about to shit out an entire album just like it.

Most of the tracks are around 6 minutes, so I think it's gonna have at least some depth, but I'm not naive enough to expect much in the style of this. They've changed it up with every album, and LC is also kind of a watershed case anyway because of how dark a time it was for Homme. I'm just hoping it'll have the fun that a lot of Rated R and TCV had, since that's the kind of tone it looks like they're going for.

He seems to be in a good mood these days and is doing a lot of press coverage for Villains (which he never did for this album), so it probably will be cheerful and upbeat for the most part
