I love that they did a side project with members of Isis too, I gotta give that a listen soon.

That album would have been great, but the production absolutely blows. It's worth a listen, regardless.

Palms was great. I was really hyping it up when it was first announced. But yeah, the production was meh.

From what I've heard of Palms it sounded like great stuff.

Palms was very underwhelming the last time I heard it, but Isis wasn't my thing back then so I should really try it again.

I can't see how Deftones + Isis could be cause for anything other than success.

Well the production was pretty poor from what I can remember, but like I said, a long time ago.

I'm listening to Palms now and not getting the production complaint. The drums don't sound that great though.

Entombed is one of their most emotional songs, gets better the more and more I listen.

I went and bumped my rating for this. It's such a stalwart album, man.

the production's fine on Palms, could be better, but it's not terrible. a staff reviewer said it was bad and that influenced half the site because people can't think for themselves.

It's really not bad at all. I don't understand why people complain about it

I love the album, I just thought it'd be a bit more dynamic. I expected more instrumental presence, rather than just being a backdrop to Chino. Still underrated on this site though.

yeah everything about Palms is far more understated than I expected. It's nowhere near bad but it's just kind of fine.

I don't get the frequent negativity towards Palms either, even if it's my least favourite Chino side project and it does have certain issues.

Listen to Team Sleep, yeah.

Team Sleep is Chino's best side-project by far. Such a sweet record. (still waiting for the second TS album)
