well, at least when I saw them they sounded really, really good. And William was excellent - absolutely nailed it. They played Rain When I Die, too, and I almost melted.

Agree. I've seen them with both singers *pats self on back* and it was great both times. A lot more hardcore in the Layne days of course - he was hanging in a net, wailing, possibly wasted on heroin throughout the concert.

I'd think that with most other bands, but Jerry is and always has been the core of Alice in Chains. BGWTB is undeniably AIC to me.
