Mordecai and Ad A Dglgmut are some of BTBAM'S best actually, although when I feel like listening to them, I just put in Colors_LIVE haha

I think the production on silent circus is better than this. I feel like the guitars too low in the mix on colors

there's parts of this I like, but there's like 10 minutes of metalcore riffs, shit transitions, and monotonous breakdowns before you get to a good part

I remember when I DL'd The Silent Circus, I thought the production sounded lacking - too quiet and buzzy. Turned out it was a pre-reissue rip - not a bad rip. So for people who want to hear it to its optimal potential, make sure to get/download the reissue from 2006, which should be the one widely available, before you judge. This actually goes for a lot of bands like various metal from the 80/90's and classic prog who have remastered their shit. It's a horrible mess.

What I also meant to say was that the TSC reissue sounds better than this production-wise.

I thought this was great aside from a few awkward spots like the polka section.

Yeah that one odd section in Prequel to the Sequel nearly ruined the song

i like the polka section, they do it quite well regardless of placement. after the intro/metalcorey breakdown in prequel it has about 3 minutes of annoying bullshit though, prolly my least favorite part on the whole album but they save themselves after

Best moments on the record IMO = last minute of viridian/transition to white walls, the intro of informal gluttony

Sometimes it seems like they're just all,"Let's put a weird section here just because we can."
