Titan I got nothing but love for ya but thats such a massive overreaction lol, there were plenty of songs on this record that were just straight up metal with a left field turn for maybe a minute of them. Game Over, Mattel, We Love You, Cosmic, and Beautiful Morning had plenty to chew on for their “old school” fans.



Like I said, I see this EP as a detour. But I’ll be glad to eat shit if the next album sounds like that.

wildcard buddy i like LIBAD and you know i do but there are a lot of sevenfold fans that were turned off by it. i don't think this is an overreaction i think they're done with metal and i hope im wrong. i was referring to the single and now this ep when i said 2 outputs in a row. i hope the next album or whatever it is is one of those hey fans we heard you and we're back....

I agree with wildcard or whoever that a couple of dud EPs/singles isn't really enough to go off yet. Especially given that they've already released some duds in the past and still managed to come back with this one.

And like, capitulating to what fan demand is how you end up a legacy act. I’m not ready for these guys to start pumping out later era Metallica style bullshit. Actually, better yet, if they had just done what fans wanted we would’ve never gotten this or the Stage, we just would’ve gotten repeats of Hail to the King because that’s EASILY their most popular album.

Nightmare and this were the albums that got the most playtime when I saw them back in 2023 and you could tell most of the crowd were stoked for the Nightmare tracks
