yeah but 1) an artist variating in loudness within a narrow spectrum would be considered to play less dynamically than someone who plays quiet and turns it up the next, or at the very least that piece would have less of an emphasis on dynamics, it's just that it would effectively have the same impact on the listener so they wouldn't necessarily perceive the difference, which is why one isn't necessarily worse or better than the other. But there are specific terms used in music to describe specific volume levels which aren't defined completely relatively, although obviously you have to factor in the context of each song to an extent



and 2) Ichiko doesn't really do that
