Hep, your hip hop knowledge is obviously extensive, and you're totally entitled to hate this all you want, but don't you think it's a little fucked up to say whether or not black people listen to something?
Like every time I see you in this thread you're saying black people don't listen to Kendrick.
1. What exactly does it prove if they don't?
2. That's a sorta racist thing to say, dude.

the most culturally inept people are always the first to drop the racism card (im speaking specifically about white people here btw)
like dear god some hip hop fans on a music form discuss trends in music in modern american black culture

What the fuck does having black friends prove? I have plenty of black friends, but seriously how the fuck is that relevant. My point is that, I wouldn't assume that I know anything about a black stranger based on conversations I've had with black friends.

this isn't about individuals though

I don't care about the conversation taking place. I just said it was fucked up to assume that black people do or don't listen to a certain artist.

he was saying black people tongue-in-cheek meaning people who actually live in the hood across the country
|

it's not fucked up at all
it also wasn't an assumption but that's kinda irrelevant

QT's opinion on this is less than irrelevant. And hep the reason I even brought it up is because I have white friends like you in real life Who think that because they listen to shit loads of rap and have black friends that they can speak for black culture, and I wasn't sure if that's what you were doing or if you were trying to make a deeper point

What exactly are you guys even arguing about. I don't get it. If the majority of Kendricks fans are white that doesn't really prove anything about quality (I think that's not what Hep was even tryin to say but then again I don't know what his point was 'xept: "This shit aint for the streets")
