Yep. If that's the most striking thing about this you noticed you missed a lot.

don't lie, you know there's a large amount of people who think this album is great simply because of the time signatures and technical skill displayed by the band or the godawful 'i just realized there's more to life than myself' lyrics. while the musicianship is nice, it's used to make music that sounds like useless garbage spinning endlessly in on itself.

but we're not those people, so why should we argue for them

I couldn't give less of a fuck about what kind of people like this band and what kind of people don't like it.

That said, my comment above could be interpreted the exact other way around and therefore against the people you mentioned, which was intentional btw. It doesn't change the fact that there is a LOT more to this than that, let alone the way the uncommon times are handled is absolutely amazing. They always have a purpose, intensifying the overall tension (Schism) or creating an odd and slightly alien feeling around the music (in The Patient for example).

lol i bet. Sublime fans are still worse. i don't care if a band has a terrible fanbase as long as i enjoy the music

Jep. It's just the songs. They are simply amazing and hit almost everything just right. This record is so complete. Fuck Tool. Fuck the fans. Just listen to the music.

read the ingredient labels on all the food you eat, americans eat so much poison everyday without realizing it because they're lazy and want tasty treats. dyes, preservatives, carcinogens, artificial flavors, fucked up chemicals that kill slowly, low quality meat, it's all bad in the grocery store once you start looking.

@ kalkwiese i do like that comment

That's impressive if true but I don't buy it. Avoiding Schism and Sober is quite a feat.

That is impressive, I remember hearing Schism a lot. Nothing else rings a bell mind.
