Lemonworld is the weakest track of the big four imo. mm either that one or Gospel

lemonworld is easily one of their best imo but yeah there was a time i really didnt like this band at all but i LOVED secret meeting so it'll always be one of my favorites

Lemonworld isn't one of my favs but still great. I think the weakest of the big 4 are Astronauts, Runaway, and Fireproof, which speaks to how amazing this band is since they're all still great songs.

I used to not love Runaway as much but I adore it now. Fireproof is def one of the weakest. City Middle is pretty weak too.

Whoa no way. City Middle is one of the best on Alligator. I think it was even my favorite National song for a while years ago, when it hit me really hard a few times when listening to Alligator.
Runaway isn't bad at all but it goes on longer than it should without changing much, like Blame it on the Tetons by Modest Mouse.

I think Runaways builds subtly and nicely and it's a nice break of pace in the album. In fact in some ways it's one of the most emotional pieces there.
