i have this sort of unwritten rule of giving an album at least 2 or 3 full listens before giving it a conscious rating, very rarely do i rate stuff after only one listen.

although ill rate shit albums after like half a listen or a third of a listen if they are so bad that i have to skip a bunch of tracks.

Totally agree. Only listened to the bends - kid A thus far but they all took 5+ listens to click.

lol yea, i dunno it's just that i don't see the point in giving an album a bad rating after only one listen, unless it was something remarkably bad then i don't bother with it.
