Haven't spun any of their EPs yet either though, so it's possible something from one of them could gatecrash my top 10.
What would yours be?

The couple of B sides in your picks is reminding me I really need to get on their EPs

"Geese," "Brainy," "Lemonworld" and (for what it's worth) "This Is the Last Time" bubble just under my top 10.
Just revisited this album for the first time in ages, so good. Probably would have bumped my rating to a 4.5 if my listen hadn't been segregated into two parts (got hungry and took a break to make dinner)
They can all just kiss off into the air...

Another good selection, aside from "City Middle" which is probably their most overrated song imo.

I've never been a fan of the melody on "City Middle" and lyrically it's kind of repetitive and it has the same problem that a few other songs on Alligator have where it approaches nonsense in places whereas on most other songs the lyrics are absurd in a good way.
It's a decent 3/5 song but possibly my least favorite national song post-Sad Songs. I know this is heresy to some but alas it's just my opinion.
