Spiritual Healing rips. It took me a bit to warm up to the vox when I first heard it, but eventually grew to love them. I think SH is easily the most underrated Death album, and probably one of the most underrated dm albums in general tbh

SH is up there for me too, after this and Human.



But (and I think I said this already somewhere) -- SH, Leprosy, Symbolic all share #3 spot. If I had to rank, then I'd put them as 3-5 but they're really interchangeable. Although I listen to SH and Leprosy a lot more than Symbolic these days.



I'm also not a big fan of prog usually, but I don't find Death's later stuff to be too progressive. This def has prog influences but it's more technical than prog. TSoP is a different story, though. That album is pretty much prog metal with harsh vox.
