I'd actually go peace sells next. My 2nd favorite and a good counterwork to the more polished version of the band on display here. Just jumping right back to the debut might be a little off putting at first in my opinion. Countdown would be a good next choice to introduce the more melodic side of the band for the past two decades. Their only other work that comes close technicality-wise (and in all honestly exceeds it in spots but in a kind of untasteful way) is Endgame so it might be worth checking that one out, too.

Damn, now that I've finally listened to the original version a few times, I've gotta say this fucking rules. The riffs and the solos transition so damn well.
