You can write a negative review; you just can't rate it lower than a 2 once it has built a large base

of high ratings.

Edit: some things in life are just inexplicable

"Oh I get what you're saying now, wait why can't someone write a negative review of a highly rated album?"

you can definitely write a negative review for a high rated album. just can't rate it anything under a 2

I think it's going to be a lot more of a positive response than people think

Yeah, I think people are remembering that Opeth are a pretty reliable band. Heritage was concerning because it was different, but Communion shows that it was a transitionary period for them and not a falling-off point.

So why were people hating on Cusp? It's probably one of my favorites on PC tbh.

Yeah a prog rock version of Ghost Reveries is pretty much the exact vibe I get from Pale Communion.

Yeah this is good, but I'd much rather listen to Ghost Reveries.

Jammed PC for the first time tonight, I definitely love it, not quite sure if it's better than this though. Seems a little more cohesive than this, yet it's a little less proggy and jazzy. Definitely a solid 4 at the very least, but it will probably grow on me every listen

It was better than this for me on first listen.

Def think it's their best since BWP with the exception of GR.
