Euronymous was undoubtedly ravishing in that crop top of his.
Like a Scandinavian belly dancer.

A lot of purists hate the original release of Grand Declaration of War because of the polished production and the borderline trip-hop of A Bloodsword and a Colder Sun. But opinion seemed warmer towards the remix/remaster.

For an album at the center of the second wave of bm, this album feels more a-typical than I would have expected. the vocals not being high pitched screetches all the time is the obvious example, but the music is also a lot less atmosphere and coldness oriented than what my previous image of the scene at the time would have suggested and goes more into groove and interesting song transitions instead.
Liking it a lot.

it has its own atmosphere
burzum is the only early 90s that does the super repetitive atmoblack shit tho
well arguably th too but

when i think of stereotypical bm of that age, my mind always goes to transilvanian hunger, which is similarly repetitive, lo-fi and atmosphere oriented as burzum is, i suppose.
