I expected this to be good, but I didn't expect it to be so goddamn funky. God damn. This has to be the funkiest, grooviest shit I've ever heard

Watch Stop Making Sense, dude. Seriously one of the best live concerts ever recorded. It's on Prime currently but you can probably find it on YouTube, too.

I definitely will after I listen to this a few more times and wrap my head around it a bit more. There's so much packed into these 8 songs, they're very dense. Every time I listen I notice something new.

This album is really good but honestly I enjoy 77 and FOM just as much. They’re all amazing

id come home sloshed years ago and talk to people about this album on here all night. when my comments were wiped it must have deleted 20 plus pages. everything that can be said about this album has been said by me and countless others time and again. though i never get tired of calling it one of the best albums ever created, and possibly the best i have ever heard.

Man... it's really starting to hit me how good the lyrics to The Great Curve are

It always got overshadowed I guess because it comes after Crosseyed and Painless which is like their best song

I swear if it weren't for my ambivalence about Seet and Not Seen, this would be the best album of all time

Byrne writes amazing lyrics in general. I love Seen And Not Seen too, I feel like it gives a glimpse into his mind and the way he thinks about things. The instrumental is surprisingly lively too and gets stuck in my head a lot

if I had to rank it I would probably say Born Under Punches > Houses In Motion > Once In a Lifetime > Seen and Not Seen > The Great Curve > Crosseyed and Painless > The Overload
