The Diggs trade is really damning of the failures of the Bills tbh.

Nah Diggs is a head case and the Bills had no leverage in getting rid of him because everyone knew they were trying to get rid of him. Dude has essentially quit on two different teams to get shipped out and has serious integrity issues. He regularly pulled himself out of games with the Vikings and ended up doing the same with Buffalo. Sucks they couldn’t get more and it’s just another item on the list of a poor offseason, but that trade is not that surprising to me.



Them slashing their defense was more damning, but I can’t be sad about the Bills offseason because the Jags got a stud center in Mitch Morse and a Gabe Davis out of it.



EDIT: Texans wiping the last 3 years of Diggs’ deal essentially making it a one-year lease is further evidence that HOU is just taking a flyer and seeing if he gels with the team.

In unrelated moves, the Jags signing a long term deal with actual homegrown talent is a great change of pace. Josh Allen becoming the first 100M$ Jag is well deserved and I hope he, Oluakun and Walker become a long term core up front. Draft is going to be oops all offense plus one or two DBs.



If the Jags somehow traded up to pick 5-10 for one of the top WRs or Brock Bowers, I’d actually cry tears of joy.
