Yeah I'm not sure it makes a lot of sense to me either. I think this is really solid and consistent throughout, though it definitely has a few standout tracks... but it's just missing the raw energy of some of their older material. I hear something like Unauthorized Autobiography and am just blasting it in the car, just thinking "damn this goes harder than anything on leaves". Also there are a few tracks that never reach more than just "good", which are We Invent You, December, Treachery, Demons Sing Love Songs, One Lick Less... so basically like a third of the album. I'm also not in love with Terminus as much as some other people in this thread. Idk, a 4 is still an excellent.
And more importantly I just don't enjoy it as much as my other 4.5s
